Pivotal Learning is the FIRST and ONLY ACCT PVM for Training and Certification in South East Asia. We offer a rigorous, professional and enjoyable certification process based on ACCT Standard. It is important to understand that Training and Certification are separated. It means you may not be trained by Pivotal Learning and can be certified by Pivotal Learning. At the same time, Pivotal Learning can only certified practitioners with content in our curriculum that meets ACCT Standard.
Systems refer to type of belay systems and Specialty Elements. Currently, we are able to certify the following systems:
This is meant for new practitioner.
Level 1 certified practitioner shall possess all staff competencies listed in Section C of the Operation Standard including core, technical and facilitation competencies. A Practitioner Level I can apply competencies to routine, familiar program delivery situations under supervision and with support from more experienced and knowledgeable staff.
Certification Assessment:
This is meant for practitioner who have experience and ready to take on leadership role.
Level II certified practitioner shall possess all staff competencies listed in Section C of the Operation Standard including core, technical and facilitation competencies. A Practitioner Level II shall have knowledge and skills to solve most non-routine situations and provide leadership to less experienced and less knowledgeable staff.
Certification Assessment:
This is meant for course owner or centre manager who are experienced and have administrative experience.
The Course Manager candidate shall possess all staff competencies listed in Section C of the Operation Standard including core, technical and facilitation competencies, plus substantial operational experience. A Course Manager shall have the knowledge and skills to implement the operations management competencies in Section B of the Operation Standard.
Certification Assessment:
Age: 18 years old
Prior Work Experience: None
Training Hours:
50 hours of documented work experience in previous
year and RETEST
OR
Age: 18 years old
Prior Work Experience: 200 hours of direct program delivery, preparation and design.
Training Hours:
150 hours of documented work experience, 24 hours of additional training within 3 previous years and RETEST
OR
Retake initial training hours and RETESTAge: 21 years old
Prior Work Experience: 500 hours including direct program delivery, preparation and administrative work.
Training Hours:
300 hours of documented work experience including program delivery or operational experience such as in-house training, staff briefing, manual development, skill verification and site review. Also inclusive of 30 hours of additional training within 5 previous years and RETEST.
OR
Take 30 hours of training of which 16 hours must be Course Manager Training and RETEST.
Note: A CM recertification does not require to maintain a Level 2 Practitioner Certification
